Ministry of Commerce and Industry has unveiled New Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, on 1st April, 2015. This Policy is a futuristic guideline
which would impact country's International Trade till 2020.

The announcement of a new Foreign Trade Policy for a period of five years is a step in increasing foreign trade. It takes an integrated view of the
overall development of India's foreign trade and provides a roadmap for the development of the sectors having prospects for export expansion
and potential for employment generation.

The policy sets out the core objectives, identifies key strategies, spells out focus initiatives, announces many trade facilitation measures,
provides facility to upload soft copies of documents online using digital signatures, outlines export incentives, and also addresses the issue
of simplification of procedures relating to export/ import activities.

With a view to carefully analyze the provisions of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and Handbook of Procedures (HBP).
